​​​Self Sown Healing is an inner journey which honours personal agency, natural processes and growth through challenge with support of a witnessing and compassionate presence.

The sunflower is known for its abundant seedhead and contains the golden spiral which is found throughout the natural world as well as the greater universe. This infinite spiral signifies the unfurling of life and growth and is also the natural pattern for healing.

As an emblem it also symbolizes the call to live in joy despite life's changing seasons, like a sunflower riding high, rooted in dirt and darkness yet also oriented to and nourished by the light. The design comes from an early 20th century ceramic tile recovered from an old family home now long gone.​
